He always pronounces 'g' as 'd', 'k' as 't'. A doctor tells us it is because his mouth hasn't grown big enough and there is no need to worry. Shall we worry about it?

no , it will work itself out.

we couldn't tell anything that my little boy was saying until he was almost 5 and all of a sudden - he talked perfectly. Just don't make a big deal out of it or he could get self conscience about it.

Don't worry about it at this stage of the game. Now if the same problems are still happening in say 2 yrs. then it would be a good idea to get a speech evaluation, most schools have a speech pathologist on site and they can do the testing at no cost to the parent.

Request that he sees a speech therapist. This person is best to decide what to do. Doctors study general medicine and often are not familiar with specialties.

i couldn't pronounce l until i was 8 years old. that's bad
when there are 3 ls in your name. if he still cannot
pronounce certain sounds by the time he is in school he
will probably receive speech therapy. until then relax
and enjoy him the way he is.

No, don't worry about it. His speech will improve when he enters 1st grade. If it doesn't you will be contacted by the school's speech therapist and together you can make a plan.

No, not at all kids grow, talk and do things at there own pace just be patience and work with him.
