God likes to intervene. But wait, he doesn't intervene, we have free will. But wait, he punishes us if we disobey his laws. But wait, he doesn't punish us, we punish ourselves. But wait, if we pray to Him, he will answer our prayers. But wait, his will is set and nothing can change or alter or effect it. But wait, our only punishment or reward is AFTER we die, our lives on this earth are OUR decision. But wait, he destroyed Sodom and Gommorra because He didn't like their behavior. But wait...the list goes on and on and on....

God did intervene in the lives of individuals during the Holocaust and the Second World War. God does intervene in the lives of people who ASK him today. Who understands all....no one on earth. Gods ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts. There are reasons why things happen the way they do and we do not always understand it. We have been given a brain to think with and free will to make decisions. For every action there is a reaction. We are living in a world that is filled with all the consequences of man's choices.
I know that I have also thanked God, at times, for unanswered prayer because I asked him for something that I wanted so badly at the time and later I learned it would not have been what I wanted at all.
Will we have all the answers this side of heaven, probably not but if you seek you will find, ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be opened. If you really want to find the truth you will. Is the journey easy, no. Nothing you wish to obtain that is of great value is easy. Will you choose to do so.

You know Spook show, that is a very good question. If I were a man of lesser faith, as I was when I was younger in Christ, I would have been upset by this.
The Holy Bible can be thought of as a History Book as well as Scripture. Too many people assume that God intervened in major ways every time something happened to the Jews; this is like assuming our history contains everything that ever happened in history.
So you see God intervenes in Biblical proportions only when he sees absolute necessity. If you read the scriptures then you will find that God intervened in such matters only after the a problem lasted for several generations: He gives mankind time to work these things out for ourselves and only when it is obvious that we can't correct a problem, when things become hopeless, that he intervenes.
Being that we did solve the problem it seams apparent that God did not find the need to cause a great miracle to happen. God dose intervene in small ways all the time just not in huge ways as often as we'd like him to.

An analogy could be, "why is a discern intrude in a baby's existence plenty while they seem to be a sprint one, yet no longer plenty while they're grownup?" while the baby will become an grownup, it no longer desires the consistent intervention of the mothers and dads that it needed while it replaced into youthful, and the discern could enable the grownup baby make its own blunders (as in the Holocaust). Persecution has continually exceeded off against God's people (the two Jews and Christians) for the duration of historic past, no longer basically in the Holocaust.

One could argue that given our vast history, God has in fact only intervened (changed the natural outcome) very few times. He mostly did it with respect to Israel because they were supposed to be a Heavenly nation on earth. Many times God used famine, plague, and the nations around Israel to punish them. World War 2 was most likely either judgment being exacted on the Jews or the simple fact that God allows his people in this Messianic period to be persecuted without fear of direct immediate reprisal from God. Rather that his judgment on the rest of the world will be cast at a later date.

How do you know if he didn't or did intervene? You only put down one war. If are trying to prove the non-existence of God then do it correctly with facts. Unfortunately for you, you don't have any.

If you get to heaven, you will have to ask God. He is the only one who can answer that question. It is a fact God can do what He wants. He does not have to ask anyone anything about what He does. He knows exactly what He is doing and does not make any mistakes. I hope and pray I see you in heaven.

He was trying over and over to have a relationship with his people.
We could not keep from breaking the promises, so he send Jesus to give us the new covenant of Peace love and Forgiveness.
We have the Church and the Holy Spirit to guide us.
That is not "doing nothing"
But he will not make us follow him.
Peace!

"The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your forefathers when he said through Isaiah the prophet: " 'Go to this people and say, "You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving." For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.' "Therefore I want you to know that God's salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!" Acts 28:25-29

SEXY, SEXY, SEXY, SEXY! Just thinking out loud.
The first word in the bible for "God " is Elohim, which means
gods.
The God of the Old Testament are the Powers and Principalities.
They do Gods will in that God LETS them have power. But
God doesn't give orders for everything.
It says God will punish the Hosts of Heaven too. so not
everything they did was righteous in Gods eyes!

He did, many times. Search Holocaust stories and see for yourself.
Besides, we won, right?
