I don't believe there is one true religion. I think we each choose what we feel is true for ourselves as individuals. For some this is the one true religion. For others it is simply the best choice for them.
"Religion is like a large elephant surrounded by several blind men. One man touches his tail and thinks it’s a rope. Another touches his trunk and thinks it’s a snake. Another touches his leg and thinks it’s a tree. Yet another touches his side and thinks it’s a wall. They are all experiencing the same elephant, but are experiencing him in very different ways. The same goes for God and the various religions."

WOW!!! Looks like the "Thumbs-Down Faeries" are very busy on this question. LOL!!!

If practiced the way God intended, both are the same, it's just that one is an extension of the other.
Christianity isn't a NEW religion, it's an extension of Judism. The only thing different is that with Christ's death, came the end of animal sacrifices. He fulfilled the law of Moses, He didn't replace it. He didn't say, Hey, I've created this new religion that everyone needs to join.
The commandments found in the OT are still valid today. We can look to the OT and see all kinds of symbolism for Christ. We need to remember that, and understand what the OT is really saying. It's difficult, but to dismiss it and only study the NT is short sighted.

Well, God started it all with Judism. Adam and Eve were Jewish, but then he created christianity. He expected the Jews to convert to christianity when he sent his Son to die on the cross. However, it's a process thing. Paul, a Jew, was selected personally by Jesus to reach out to the Gentiles (the non Jews) and this outraged the pharisees (the jewish preachers) and they consistently persecuted him for his work on his mission the irony was the Paul (Then called Saul) was one who himself persecuted Chistians. As for Aethiests and the branch that split off (i think it's the Agnostics) They are the group that denies God even exists. Sure good things happen to them but bad things do as well. And good and bad things happen to Christians. And datanists. And wiccans/witches. and Jews. They happen to everybody. It's called Life and God's plan. God has a plan for everyone whether they follow him or not. some people will come to know God and others won't. Their hearts have been hardened beyond salvation. But some can be saved. Most simply aren't ready. The thing that makes Christianity the one true religion is that Well, God made it. The Jews were supposed to convert and then evanglize to the rest of the wold and THAT is why they are God's chosen people. That s why he loves them more than all others. Actually, since we all decided from Adam and Eve, we are all Jewish.

they both are as there are many ways one can get to their destination. besides this GOD is to big to be in just one place. the Religious Belief System which works for a hunter - gatherer culture and society may not work for an agriculture based culture society as each has different needs. neither Religious Belief System are wrong as each fulfills the needs of their own culture society. one can tell the type of society by the religion and one can tell the religion by the culture and society.

Buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion.
Many Buddhists don't believe in one omnipitant God since to them anything changeable is not immortal.
Since God can be influenced than He can't be God since that which can be changed can die.
I studied Mahayana Buddhism for over a year.
It IS an excellent form of practical psychology and is very complimentary to Christianity in how it teaches people to overcome the evils of the world and our minds by making one understand the causes of suffering and anger and how to overcome them.
I've yet to meet a Buddhist I didn't like or one who I wasn't able to learn something wonderful from.

What does it mean, that a religion is "true" or "untrue"?
Either it's true for me or it's untrue for me, and then you'll get billions of opinions saying "yes it's true" and "no it's not true," and the basis for this is a person saying "it's true because it suits me for it to be true," or otherwise.
Ultimately, we determine something as true or false only according to whether or not it benefits us to see it one way or the other, and there can be no resolution in this, only more and more conflict.
So what is truth? I cannot determine something as 100% true because my five senses don't receive 100% of the information that exists outside of them.
Only if I had such a perception of reality could I determine whether something is true or false.
Right now, I am governed by an internal mechanism that doesn't work by "truth and falseness." It works by "bitter and sweet." In other words, I determine things not according to whether they're true or false but according to whether it's worthwhile/pleasurable for me or not worthwhile/pleasurable for me.
This is simply human nature, my nature. All of my desires are governed by a will to receive pleasure, or, "I want to feel good!"
So therefore (again), I say something is true according to whether it's more pleasurable for me to say that it's true, and likewise, I say something is false according to whether it's more pleasurable for me to say that it's false.
Until we can attain a perception of reality beyond our five senses, this is all we have to work with, and thus, can never say a word about what really is true.

The religion which exists since First Human created by Almighty God. The religion which is prescribed by Almighty God to Humanity. The religion which teaches to worship One and Only one God. The religion which tells us there is no God but one God. The God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace be upon all of them).
The religion Prescribed in Old testament ( Tauret, and Zaboor) revealed on Moses and David (Peace and blessings on both of them).
The religion prescribed in New testament ( Injeel ), revealed on Jesus (Peace be upon him).
The religion prescribed in Final testament ( Qura'n), revealed on Prophet Muhammad( pbuh).
The religion command us to submit ourselves completely to our creator Almighty God. Because when we make some thing we want that thing to work as we want, same way God Almighty created us from dust, and from One man and one woman. We should obey our lord. Lord of Moses, Lord of Jesus.
The lord of Universes, the Almighty God, Allah, Elohim, El, Elah, Alah, as mentioned in original languages of revelations of Old testament, New Testament, and Final testaments, those are Hebrew, Aramic, and Arabic. People who submit completely ( With sole and body) to our creator are called Muslim. Prophets Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad, they were all committed to their God. They were Muslims. The religion they preached was Islam.
No one founded Islam, no one made Islam. On one can make or create Islam. Islam is the name of Behavior and Action. Behavior and Action with reference to WILL of Almighty God.
May Allah give us wisdome to understand true teachings of Prophets, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace and blessings on all of them), Ameen

Would be true what? That they are all based on myth, or that they all propose blind obedience in return for reward after death.
None of it is true...the only truth is that millions of people have been killed in the name of God, one which does not and will never exist.
