Sex in the City, required viewing? y/n?

Im a guy dating in midlife, do I need to see this so that I know everything not to do, even though I hate this show, and the idea that women talk about guys private things over lunch?

And, is it bad to tell other people about your lovers' bodies and sexuality, using their name? Or am I just not with it, and in the future everyone's genital sizes will be listed in the phone book next to your address?

No, the whole show is about stereotypical women and stereotypical men in extreme and unrealistic situations.

Unless you are a walking stereotype the show will have no usefull information for you.

Just be honest, if you don't play games and are straight forward, tell your dates this. I always appreciated this attitude from the guys I was with.

I'll admit, it does give you a look into the female mind that I never had a clue on before. Me, I have no idea what's going through womens heads, so it wouldn't hurt. That's the only reason I watch it.
