Depends on the area you live. Where I live, the cholrine level is really high so it is recommended to get a filter. You don't have to get a filter. You can get a Brita pitcher that filters out a pitcher at a time. It is about 20 bucks at Target.

As long as you are living in a civilized country where water is purified (and hopefully, chlorinated) you are cool ... as long as the glass is clean.

Oh! Just a note to Sithgirl8 above: when you are crowing about your good spelling why not make sure you know how to spell grammar - non grammer.

i guess it would depend on where you live . i live in the city so i have a lot of chlorine in my water . i purchased a Brita water pitcher for $ 15. from my local hardware & i use that water for everything concerning drinking very big difference, it takes all the bitterness out of the water . you will not do with out one again once you have used it .

Ah, it's debatable. I've watched Dr. Know debunk the tap vs. bottled myth, and I'm almost convinced it really doesn't matter as long as your water doesn't have a bad smell to it. I don't know who could stand to drink smelly water anyway.............

No, but that's what the sellers of bottled water and water filters want you to believe.
