I am 39 years old. 3 kids. 2 girls and a boy. My husband wants another boy. We had sex and he said I feel we will have a boy. So my friend from work gave me an ultrasound and said I'm having a girl. My husband might get mad if I tell him that I'm having a girl. What should I tell him. Truth or they couldnt tell. I just dont wanna let him down. He's been waiting all day for results.

Tell him the truth. Lying may make him happier now, but he will find out eventually either way, and this way can make things less dissapointing.

Hes your husband, tell him the truth. What you want and what you get are two different things. Maybe he is going to be disappointed, but im sure he will still love the little girl. Also the ultrasound could be wrong, it happens all the time. See if you can have a second one sometime to make for sure.

Well...first of all...ultrasounds sometimes can be wrong.

My stepmother had an ultrasound a few years ago stating she was going to have a boy....9 months later and lots of money spent of baby boy clothes....my little sister showed up and suprised everyone!

I would tell your husband since he is bound to know the truth sooner or later. He might prefer sooner. I know I would.

You already have a boy, so be excited about the prospect of a new baby rather than its sex.

I wish you luck....

If it is an exact you should tell him, he should be happy with a girl even if he wanted a boy, it will be his baby, plus you cant change the sex, no matter what it is going to be a girl. I wanted another boy so bad and just found out monday it is a girl, I was kinda bummed at first but now I am so excited.

Face it, you'll have to tell him eventually, it might as well be now. Depending on how far pregnant you are, you might want to just get an abortion if you really want a boy that much. If you do, then before you try again I suggest you read on the Internet about the techniques you can use for gender selection. Yes, it is possible to influence the gender of your baby.

That is a tough one. Just tell him the truth. You will have to at some point, get itover with now. The sooner you tell him the sooner he can get started on being excited about your new daughter. My hubby is the same way, I HATE telling him something that is bad news for him . He gets so ill so fast and ruins the day for everyone, So I know exactly what you are thinking:) Good luck and Congrats!!!!!!!!!

TELL HIM!! you cant hide the truth forever anyway....you might as well tell him now!! And besides why is he going to be mad for?? there is no reason to be mad!! Its the male chromosome that decides the sex of the baby so if he gets mad he should be at HIM for not prodicing enough male chromosomes!! not at you for not giving birth to a boy!!

I would tell him that they couldnt tell what sex the baby was.
You cant chose the sex of your baby and for him to get mad just because youre having a girl is just plain baaaad. He should be wishing that the baby is born healthy and not caring if its a girl or boy!!!

If your friend is not qualified to determine the sex of an unborn baby, wait for a proper ultrasound by the doctor.
