It's possible. I think it really depends on the guy you're talking about, some might do that while others won't. Remember, you women prefer puns and other word play jokes, while men prefer jokes that make fun of people. So long as it's in fun I suggest you just laugh along with it.

NOT all guys are like that i have 6 brothers and none of them ever made fun of a girl they have liked maybe played around with her, joking play hitting but everyone is different, maybe it makes some guys feel better more secure about them selves because they know there is a chance that you mighy not like them so they make up jokes to make themselves feel better incase of rejection, or maybe they are just really goofy guys and eventually they will grow out of it...

yes, that is one of the ways guys are comfortable giving attention and affection, without losing their macho stature in front of the guys. it also helps keep a distance, so that if the girl doeesn't feel the same way, he doesn't get as hurt or let down.

growing out if, it depends on when the guy matures. for some, maybe never.

it can also be a self esteem issue for the guy, so don't discount that.

I guess it also depends on a persons age and how good they react to the opposite sex... I mean yeah it is common for a person to tease and taunt the opposite sex due to the common misconception that it is the only way to gain ones attention... so although not the best method in gaining someones attention it is more commonly used to gain the attraction of the opposite sex...

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.

Women are never satisfied...if you're serious and considerate, they say your'e dull. If you tell them critical or crude jokes, they call you rude.

It's about getting attention. As long as women respond, the guy will keep doing it. If you want him to stop; stop laughing.

no, if you love somebody, you don't make fun of him or her. You build respect, then you build more. At least thats what good people try for. If thats happening then you are both good people, otherwise nope , sorry. Try again maybe sometime with somebody else. Good Luck.
