try puting it in pigtails (high) when wet and scrunch gel in. wait until dry then straighten just the pigtails. it will make it less curly like a semi wave. soooooooooo adorable!

You're lucky. Most girls would envy you having naturally curly hair. If it were me, I'd leave it curly. Most attempts at straightening are usually unsuccessful, especially if there's high humidity where you live. Don't use chemical relaxers, as they can damage your hair. You can try different hair styles even with curly hair. You can wear it up, down, ponytails, buns, curl clusters, parted on either side, or no part at all. Scrunching makes the ends curl, if that's what you want. You have to do it when the hair is still wet after washing, and you might want to add a little mousse or gel. You just take the ends in your hand and ball it up like you're making a fist. Do it several times. When it dries, it will be curly. But if your hair is naturally curly, you don't need to scrunch it.

ok, first of all, I don't relle like curly hair in a pony tail unless it's like teased and wavy/curlyish. If you want it straightened you should try some of these products first before you straighten:
-Redkin smooth down (NO FRIZ)
-Sunsilk NO MORE POOF, STRAIGHTEN DOWN, or NO FRIZ
-Garnier Fructis smoothing anti-friz serum
^ apply these to damp or towel-dried hair (see directions on the back of the bottle) and then blown dry.
I have all these and all work perfectly depending on how your hair is: frizzy, poofy, etc....
Having your hair straight down i would say would look RELLE cute! NOT up!!
If you want a pony tail: straighten your hair and THEN put it up. That will look a lot better.
Scrunch your hair? My advice i guess would consist of 2 different techniques:
1. Shower the NIGHT before and put your hair up (while still wet) in a messy tight bun on the top of your head or close to it. (Sleep on it that way). In the morning, take it out and use a damp towel and scrunch your hair a little more to get rid of the friz. Then use hair spray or a women's hair gel (<-- better choice) and rub it into your hands and scrunch your hair once more. Then possibly spray your gelled hair LIGHTLY.......your done!
2. If you shower in the morning: when your out of the shower, wring out your hair so it's not dripping; but not too dry. Scrunch your hair (make a fist and go up and down as your grab at your hair [doesn't hurt]) with the towel and then use the gel just like in option #1.
**Make sure when scrunching your hair to still use one of the above listed products first. (at night or morning!)
I hope this helps!!

First of all, lets face it - We all want what we don't have. I have bone straight blonde hair and would change with you in a heart beat. Your hair looks best when you let it do what it wants to do. Make the best of what you have. I know straight hair is in but it is good to be different. To scruch your hair - Get some Aussie Scrunch Spray from Walmart or a drugstore. Spray it on your hair when it is wet. Dry your hair with your hair dryer (Use the diffuser if you have one) Scrunch your hair in your hands as you are drying it. That's it . Pretty easy.

You could do a lot of styles with your hair - natural curly, romantic updo's or even straight ones in a while. You could buy a hair iron straightener at a beauty store. To scrunch to hair, use hair moose.

Scrunching your hair is easy : 1 wash your hair to make shore its clean. 2 dry it with a towel ( don't worry about a little water left in that's fine.) 3 Put in it all threw your hair to keep it Scrunched. 4 Then, bend down your top half wail you're standing, have your hair out in front of you. Start to push up your hair toward your head and then "scrunch" the hair in your hands, then repeat 'tell you have scrunched it all. 5 if your hair is still wet scrunch with a towel in your hands and repeat 'tell it's as dry as you want it then scrunch only with your hands.

alright well i'm a pro at scrunching-then are at leaast two ways to scrunch ur hair that i know of and it helps if you hair is wet, but not soaking wet..just use a spray bottle and get your hair wet a little bit
put hair gel all over your hands and after brushing out of combing out your wet hair, lean your head to the right of left side and move your hands up and dowen starting from the bottom while grabbing your hair-after your done with the sides reach back and do it for the back of your head then spray everywhere with hairspray
another way is putting hair gel all over your hands and throwing or tossing around your hair with your hands and sort of cupping your hands and just throwing your hair around do this as much as you want to depending on how "wet" you want your hair to look then spray with hairspray
you can do these as much as you want like i said b4 depending on how "wet" you want your hair to look
another thing that i do that also looks cute is not to scrunch all of your hair, just the bottom while your hair is behind your ears so the top part is straight and the rest is wavy it looks really cute

Just let it be, everything you do to straighten it will only damage it and make it look unhealthy, i know how you feel i have curly hair to but i gave up a long time ago trying to make it look straight, and everyone tells me how pretty it is, so why change it if everyone thinks its so pretty?

to scrunch your hair. apply a little gel and mouse into your hair while its wet. then start to blow dry it. when its just damp spray it with hairspray. continue drying it while scrunching it. when dry add more hairspray. remember to take it easy on the get though or it will make your hair too heavy.
