ok, well for art class, we r making masks, and i don't know what kind of mask to make, we need 2 have atleast like one attachment 2 it. and i have now idea on wut 2 do. so could u guyz give me some ideas ?

There are thousands of wet sites dedicated to masks, both original primitive masks and masks by modern artists.

Some focus on the artwork. Others focus on the anthropology aspects of the culture and the masks created by each culture.

You might want to do a Yahoo or Google search and see what you come up with.

There is an excellent book by Carl Jung called 'Man And His Symbols' that details (with many photographs) masks and other icons used throughout history to express cultures. You can probably fine a copy of this well-known book at any library. If you want to have your own copy most used book stores will probably have a copy.

My daughter had that assignment in her art class years ago. She covered a basic mask with aluminum foil, and then embellished it with feathers, including peacock feathers. Her grandmother has peacocks, but we purchased some very nice feathers at a craft store. It looked like one we had seen in a Venetian masquerade painting.
