Can Panic attacks cause suicide thoughts or attempt suicide? cause right now i am having a minor panic attack about my grade in math which is an F. and it has hit midterm already so we get our midterm reports the week of the 9th. and the F would appear on the card. i had promised my parents that i would have good grades and not have an f or a d on the cards. this is like the first time i ever had an f on my card. if i had gooten good grades like a's and b's i could get my driver's permitte but now i have a feeling that my parents are going to yell at me... i am trying to raise my grade back up. and had talked to my teacher today... i was thinking that i should ask my mom to talk to my teacher about that...i'm worrying about what is going to happen when i get my midterm card.... i am feeling nausuas, don't want to eat, and kind of having suicide thoughts(cause it feelis like i had failed life in a way)

It's a mid term grade, not the whole semester- take a breath.
First, panic attacks can cause everything you are describing, and it's pretty normal to panic over a bad grade when you both promised you'd get higher grades, and getting your drivers permit. That's allot hanging on a little letter, isn't it?
So, a possibility- before you get your report card , go sit down with your teacher and work out a written contract, explaining what you need to accomplish to raise your grade, with a plan of how to do it. This might include extra study time supervised by the teacher or teachers assistants, in school tutors or math study groups. Doing this shows your parents you are thinking like an adult, and taking charge of fixing the situation.
Once you do this and have the paper in hand, go talk to your mom and be truthful. Yes, she might be mad, but she might also be proud that you took it upon yourself to handle this in a constructive way.
Now- if you have been having panic attacks for other reasons, you might want to get in touch with teen hot line and find a peer group to talk in, or talk to a trusted doctor or nurse practitioner- panic attacks are no fun, and sometimes they get worse with age and stress. Often knowing what they are and knowing how to diffuse them is all you need. You are not crazy, and most people with panic attacks about specific things learn to control them and be OK.

That is not a panic attack, trust me. That's just anxiety. You need to meet with your teacher or have your mom do it and figure out what the problem is.
An "F" is really bad. If you were trying, you should get at least a "D" and that's with having some issues.
Panic Attacks do not cause suicide. Actually, quite the opposite. You are afraid your dying...and you don't want to.

Ok i am not sure if panic attacks can cause some of those thoughts.... but i sure hope you wouldn't ever hurt yourself though... ok yes i would have your teacher and mom talk... and try your best next time for the grades... it is i guess a bad thing to have bad grades but things happen... so it is no reason to hurt yourself or think like that. just calm down... in ten yrs you will look back and be like tat would have been stupid to ever try and kill myself... cuz then i wouldn't have gotten to see all the other great things about life. Good Luck!!!

work on the grades study a litter harder. Suicide is not the way to go cause then your dead and it doesn't matter anymore.
Grades take alot of work and effort. If your having a hard times with a subject ask for help. Teachers are willing to stay after but you have to ask for it first
Suicide is NOT the answer

Now killing yourself seems like the cowards way out...YOu know what you did as far as your grades are concerned...I bet you are a smart girl also...but all the panicking in the world isn't going to get that F to a B or an A overnight. Just sit down with your parents and tell them tonight...Mom, Dad,...look, I let you guys down, and me too. I didn't take it seriously enough and I was shocked to find out I was going to be getting an F ...them them you didn't realize you did THAT poorly. .Tell them you are so sorry and putting your nose to the grind and that you don't expect them or want them to give you the driver's permit until you show them that you mean business...then if you feel like crying...let it all hang out as the song goes....But anxiety, frustration, depressed and feeling like you failed is human...many of us smarties messed up a lot of times..but the true test for you...is to show what kind of good character you have and make the wrong right...Say your prayers and ask God to help you and to soften the blow with mom and dad who adore you. Don't forget to thank Jesus too...And God Bless You can turn this around..

Okay, you need to talk to your school counselor about what you are thinking and feeling.
And remember, in 20 years, this F won't mean anything! You should NOT be contemplating suicide over a bad grade!
Your parents may be unhappy and disappointed, but they will still love you. Don't do anything rash and get yourself some help.

It is anxiety. You are worried about what everyone will say. Your focus needs to be doing better in school. Forget the license for now and get tutoring from a teacher or friend.

panic attacks can cause those thoughts. i have been there. i sorta know how you are feeling. you should go to a doctor about your anxiety before it gets worse. they can prescribe something or refer you to a counselor. counselors are great to talk to as long as you find the right one. i am speaking from experience.
