Like many words, there is more than one way to spell it. Either "donut" or "doughnut" is okay. Christians see things only one way. They have tunnel vision. They should try reading a dictionary, or a history book, or a science book. Forget about the Bible, "creationism," Noah's Ark, and such nonsense. I wonder if those Christians who told me I was wrong will apologize. They are too small to do so. I have proven them wrong before, and they never apologized.

How do you know that it is just Christians who are this way?And how do you know ALL Christians are this way?I am a Christian and I have never attempted to correct anyone of something as silly as the two different ways of spelling a word. Also, I believe in science and believe that the Bible is riddled with metaphors and stories to not be taken seriously. But the message is still the same.Love yourself. Love your neighbors. Love Jesus. Do no harm. And so forth.....

Well, I am Christian and will apologize for them. Because anyone, Christian or not, should be able to love on another, and admit when they are wrong.
If they gave you a bad experience, I will aplogize for that. :)

But not all Chrisitians are the same. Just like not all muslims fly into the World Trade Center. :)

God Bless ya, son!

Well for all christians, I'm sorry for them! They do NOT represent all christians! Unfortunately you're correct that most christians have tunnel vision and that makes the rest of us look bad!

How do you know they were Christians? And why do you care so much about what they think? You have a chip on your shoulder ~ you sound like the nasty one. And there is only one way to spell "donut" - Krispy Kreme! :)

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16

However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"—but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2:9-13

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21

My favorite is ketchup and catsup. Most people do not realize catsup is just as correct! In fact, even Yahoo! spell check doesn't know it!
