Same reason as Nissan Micra and Volvo drivers..... they are all either hopeless , holier than thou or politically correct.

maybe it being an older car it is then more attractive to the elder, safer driver. Although saying that my first car was a mini metro, had it two weeks and dinked it three times !

Because the top speed on a mini metro is 29mph

Because driving a metro above 50mph is very unstable and scarier than driving a formula 1 car at 200mph... Plus only old people or people who have just passed their test and can only afford a cheap motor drive them.

because the metro was made out of recycled biscuit tin and they are scared it will break up with the wind pressure on the car

Because Mini's only have a speedo up to 70.......HAHAHAHAHA You should drive on the M62 on a morning they break the speed limit there.......

probably because they dont want to take a chance and kill somebody not like some idiots speed limits are not there for breaking

because the maximum speed limit the car can do is 30mph therefore it is impossible to ever break the speed limit. lol
