I give pediasure to both of my daughters who are 2 and 4. They both were normal size at birth but they have a very hard time picking up weight even though they eat from sun up to sun down. My 2 yr old just hit 23lbs and my 4 yr old weighs 31lbs. The pediasure has helped them stay at that weight and even added some weight to them. (they were smaller)

It gives them vitamins and nutrients that a lot of foods don't have in them.

Pediasure is for kids who might not be getting the vitamins and nutrients that they need from what they eat. Pediasure is like a supplement, in liquid form.

When the child doesnot eat at all. Atleast with Pediasure they are getting the right nutrition and vitamins equivalent to a regular meal per bottle.

if they are very bad eaters.
pediasure has all the good vitamins and minerals as if they ate a good meal.

I give that to my son..
1 a day..
hope that answers your question. :)

i guess thier kids are very picky eaters(i was and still am...lol)or doesnt like milk.i know if they had that when i was a toddler or kid my parents would made me take that too cause of me not eating right.so i guess the main reason that their child is a picky eater.

Because likely their child has a nutrition or eating issue where they are not getting everything they need, or are unable to eat solid foods.

When kids have diarea and throw up they are losing fluids. It's to keep them hydrated. It is like Gatoraid but without all the sugar that makes diarea and vomiting worse.

If they are not feeling well and unable to eat properly it helps them get adequate nutrition.
