Getting my tonsils out, what are some yummy fat free frozen yogurts and ice creams?

If you are in the mood to make a few treats yourself, how about this old Weight Watchers slushy: put one cup of nonfat milk in a blender. Add frozen strawberries or blueberries or peaches until the milk rises to two cups (that means you have dropped in one cup of frozen fruit). Squirt some equal or other nonfat sweetener in the mix and a few dashes of vanilla. Start the blender and drop ice cubes in it until it is amazingly slushy. You will get a lot!!! You can eat it and put it back in the freezer. I really hope your surgery goes well for you!!!

I say forget fat free for a couple of days.

Getting your tonsils out is like a once in a life time cheat day. Just toss the remaining ice cream out when your healed up enough to eat real food.

I still remember getting mine out, Truman was still president, that was back in the 1940's. I remember them trying to knock me out with either and I was only 4 or 5 and I fought them off, it took a team to get me knocked out. After that the last memory is the ice cream. Maybe they give you a shot in the arm now, but that either was some nasty stuff.

Forget the fat free crap...you're going to feel miserable as it is...have the ice cream God intended all of us to have...loaded with fat and calories and above all yummy flavor.

Go with Sherberts instead, milk products produce a gluey mucous in your mouth that is ripe for producing bacteria near a site that should be kept nice and clean. Jello is also a good thing to have, that and popsicles.
