If you look in 1 Thessalonians 2:13 it says this, "And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe." This is just Paul saying that the God used men to write the Bible for us to understand him and so we experience the life of Christ.

The Bible was not written all at once. Parts of the old testament were well over 700 years old when Jesus was born.
God works through means that we understand. He inspired the men to write. He reached out to us with his son--as a human being--something we understand and he inspired men to write the Bible in lanaguages that were dead so that his word would remain unchanged.

What people don't understand is that we were sent here so that he can test our faith. In order to test someones faith you can't bodily show yourself or make things so easy then it wouldn't be a test. It would be like giving a quiz to a class with all of the answers on the board everyone would make a 100. And those that do not believe in him will will perish into the fiery pits of Hell for eternity after Judgment day.

God did not have men to write the bible. They wrote it for themselves and for those they wanted to exploit and manipulate by abusing and exploiting their faith in God and their Love for Jesus Christ.
It was prophecied that the Truth will be known at the beginnig of the 21st Century, and you may now read it by clicking on "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website. It is the words of God.

Did you ever consider that the bible was written by men because they wanted to control the populace, and God had absolutely nothing to do with it?

He did inspire it and had men write it. God is spirit and allowed men to be used by Him for His glory and to provide you with a question to ask here.

It was written on several different continents by doctors, lawyers, clergymen, fishermen, etc. By men, who in most cases, who had never met. In several different languages.
Yet It reads as if it were written by one incredible mind.
And it was. God's.

What's the difference? They wrote what He directed them to write. Therefore it is His Word, not theirs.
