I would go through at least 2 months worth of pills just to make sure
You need the first month to get your body used to the drug in your system and then you need the second month to see if it does regualte your period as it should. If not you may need more estrogen/stronger/less dosage.
Dont push the envelope. Whats 2 more months.

What is your rush? There is plenty of time for sex so why not just wait until you body is safe. I am sure that the guy that is putting all of this pressure on you does not give a damn about you. So knowing that I would wait even longer to have sex with that person. But you are in love, I just hope that when he gets tired of you and drops you for another girl. You will drop us a line telling us what a foolish person you were ok........................................ I guess that I come from the old school for I believe that anything worth having is worth waiting for............

If you start it on the first Sunday after your menstrual period starts (even if you are still bleeding), then the pill is effective immediately.

Yes!! You should use an alternate method of birth control for the first month because your body is adjusting to the medication. Before the month is up, there isn't enough of the hormones to block pregnancy.

There are different strengths to the pill---I would call up your doctor that wrote you the prescription and ask them.
