Alfred the Cubans are brainwashed to idolize Castro from birth...... just ask any Cuban who immigrated under the Carter Administration what it is really like.

You can't be any more wrong my friend. I have seen starving people in Cuba many many many times. Just because you go to rich parts of Cuba that are cleaned up for tourists doesn't mean cr*p! And I even doubt you have been to Cuba 'cause you would know. (yes that was my arguement for the Mexico post too because it still applies!)
Not only that, but people are AFRAID to talk about how horrible Castro is in Cuba because they could get arrested or killed for saying ANYTHING against him. In fact if you go to Havana you will see some nice touched up places for tourists. But what is it like inside those painted walls? Dilapidated houses and buildings crawling with vermin and mold. I recently read a report by BBC that included an interview with a guy in Havana that owns a hotel in the city. His hotel is rotting and falling apart and he can't do anything about it! He has more than enough money (thousands and thousands of dollars that he got in the early days of the hotel) to repair the building himself, but guess what, Castro won't let him! The government promised him in years and years ago that they would send people to fix his hotel, and they still haven't done anything! Not only that, but there are myriad other things with the country, like electrical power goes off for days and weeks at a time, the water system and sewage system is way lower than sub-par and sewage leaks into the ocean and yards of people. Not only that, but since Castro is cutting down more and more on private businesses, many people don't have the jobs or money to support themselves.
Anyway, lets say this is all one big hoax by the media (which it isn't), why are more and more Cubans fleeing to America? Yes, you got it, 'cause people ARE starving in Cuba and the people DO hate Castro.

Even if we gave u the city, county, street... why would we think you would freakin go and check? There are homeless people everywhere from every country. There are a lot of Cubans in Florida that blame Castro for them having to come to the USA. So what the hell are you talking about? Wow... u must have money up the a** - to travel through Cuba? and Mexico? And go to every single part and know that there aren't any homeless, starving people blaming their government for their current situation huh?! Yeah right! Why you trying to sound intelligent? Let me tell you.. you are not fooling anyone .. except yourself....
just by reading your question is enough to see how ignorant you are... "The anti Immigrants supporters" Hello?... enough said. Thank you!

I have no idea, I don't plan to go to Cuba or Dade County!! But, we are not against immigrants, we are, however, against illegals being here. They are criminals, they break the law and come here illegally! Besides, how many Americans are homeless and starving and not getting medical care? The number would astound most people, yet, our government keeps cutting programs that help the mentally ill, the poor and the lower middle income people of this country. Therefore, we are having more and more people living under those conditions every day. The money used for these criminals should be used to help Americans who have actually paid the taxes. There are many people who need help and have nowhere to turn. The government can't help them because they spend too much money helping these illegals who should not even be here.

I just guess I missed it.
What, please, are you asking?
Your question seems to be more preaching something
unintelligible about Little Havana in South Florida
than asking something about Cuba.
I take it that you have been to Little Havana.
Have you also been to Cuba.
Have you traveled there extensively?
And did you find that all the people there had
equivalent or better living conditions than those
here in the USA?
Did all the Cubans you saw throughout Cuba
on your travels there have decent housing
and good jobs with a reasonable income and
good future prospects?
Oh...I see. You have never actually been to Cuba.
Well then, you are certainly well prepared to give
lectures here on yahoo answers.

If you went to Cuba as a tourist, you probably enjoyed more banquets than the islanders ever did.
There is poverty in Cuba, but people deal with it because it is all they know.
