make sure you apply sun block lotion all over (spf 15) and stay out for about 20-30 minutes. make you you tan for the same amount of time in different areas

Try getting a spray tan done at a tanning salon or hairdressers. .
Or there are heaps of good quality ones available to buy from places like Priceline.

The spray ones in a can work the best because they have a good, even coverage and dry quickly.

One I like is Ella Bache "Great Spray Tan". It retails for about $45 for 225g but is worth every cent!

You have to go to a tanning bed and gradually build up a tan - if you burn easily start with like 5 or 6 minutes and build it from there. Or if you are scared of skin cancer - you can get the spray on tans at a tanning salon also, they last for like 5 days and don't wash off or get streaky - I tried it before it was pretty cool.

The best way is a tanning bed. But if you would like a more natural tan the best way is slowly with moderation. Keeping your skin moisturized in the process will help you retain the tan for longer. Depending on how much melanin you have in your body will depend on how fast and for how long you will get and keep your tan.

then the only way to go is sunless tanning. a good one to try is neutrogena sunless tanner. it's a spray and goes on really smootly and won't turn your hand orange, cuz you don't have to rub it in. if you use something and it doesn't work, wash yourself with rubbing alcohol and it will take out the bad color.
