We've already made one on a poster board and it's covered in sea turtles, coral and fish but she's not happy with it. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Try a shoebox.......cover the inside with blue paper/paint.....and turn the box on its side. Help her poke some holes in the top and hang some fish and other sea life from some fishing twine. You can add sand on the bottom and pipecleaners or whatever else for sea vegetation. I made these with a summer camp and the kids loved them!

use a shoe box and make a diorama. go to a craft store and get some of the animals in those little plastic forms to hang with fishing string. Then color glue with blue liquid food coloring, dilute with a little tiny bit of water too for water in the background, spread with a paint brush. (or use blue tissue paper and opaint brush glue over it all over the inside of the box).
Use coral colored pipe cleaners for coral and greens for seaweed, pebbles for rocks on the bottom. etc.
If you dont want to purchase the animals, you can get great printouts on enchantedlearning.com. Good luck.
