You'll need to start with a good teriyaki sauce recipe, first.

1/2 cup maple syrup (the real thing, if you can find it)
1/2 soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons ground ginger (optional)
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Mix all ingredients for the perfect teriyaki sauce! Marinate chicken, beef, pork -- anything for at least 4 hours, but no more than 24 hours. Then cook your meat as desired. Cook it on the grill, in a skillet, a wok...put it over steamed vegetables, rice -- whatever your desire! Have fun with all of the possibilities!

One of the easiest recipes using teriyaki sauce is Chicken Teriyaki. I usually use chicken tenders that have been sauteed in a little oil and butter. When they are almost done, I pour about half a bottle of Annie Chun's teriyaki over the top and simmer. Annie Chun's is great. It's that easy. Serve with rice and broccoli. :)

Any kind of meat marinated overnight in teriyaki sauce and then grilled is wonderful. Serve fried rice with it with a little teriyaki in it and it's even better. It also makes a great stir fry sauce.
