LOL...WOW, you sound like my brother. Look, friends are friends, bf is a bf.....you have to decide if you just want her as a friend..or deep down do you really want to be with her. No one likes a person to come and mess up their relationship so don't be a blocker honey!!!! If your true feelings are that you do actually want to be with her eventhough she has a man..don't do it.

Go ahead and be a great friend....because the best relationships start that way. Anyone who says they can't be your girlfriend because of a friendship...is just using it as an excuse because they are not attracted to you in that way. If that happens...there is nothing you can do about it.....except maybe try to improve yourself some way to attract her....like lift weights or something....

Be there for her when she needs you the most but don't get yourself racked up so much in her life that you don't have time to live your own.
And, when things go wrong with her current boyfriend, and she comes to you for support and advice; you should hint towards your feelings about her.

I can kind of see into your little predicament... but you have to leave friendship open so that if she breaks it off with her boyfriend you are there... just don't become her "girlfriend".. someone she tells everything too.. then you will become to much of her friend and then your chances become increasingly less
