If you could choose between having the best week with a perfect match, feeling his/her warmth, kisses, hughs, passion beautiful words, romance, attaching your self every minute as it goes by thinking about how would it be to be like this forever to this wonderful being and then having to let go, or avoid all the pain this could bring, and let her/him pass by as you close your eyes, I chose......love, but it's tearing me apart.

after experiencing the heartaches i would choose to not have lost at all because i am still torn inside and i think this pain will never heal.......i think it is eaiser to not have loved at all and you don't hurt when you lose something you never had............but this is just the rational explaination ....personally it was up to an emotional decision.........i would choose to have loved..........but i know how you feel........i am torn too and the pain never goes away......just be careful because there is such thing as "broken heart syndrome" people can experience heart attack like symptoms ...........anyway maybe you should give that person a second chance if you are really that torn...at least i know i would....it seems to me you really like that person....lol hope this helps and best wishes........all dreams have a rude awakening.....the tearing sensation can be helped a little if you try and detach yourself from any emotions for a while like locking it in a safe almost.....it works a little for me ........ : )....where are you from, if the US which state?

At this moment I choose neither. I feel that I would have been better not knowing what losing someone you truely love but then again there was so many good times between the two of us. I know that there's no such thing as "happy endings" but it would have been nice to be that one that does make it through all the issues that couples face.

Definitely there will be pain and suffering and sacrifices in a relationship. However, to choose not to love at all hurts even more to both parties. If you post this question because your lover is not treating you the way you are supposed to be, then you should move on. If you post this question because you are involved with an alternative lifestyle, then be patient. However, you have to continue experimenting in both cases (alternative lifestyle/opposite sex relations). Do not love not at all.

Just think you never would of known those feelings at all if you had of chosen no love at all, and being in love is the best feeling of all! I believe that although it's tearing you apart now that it was better not to miss that experience.

This is an emotion and experience that cannot be replaced or substituted with anything in the world. It is in our human nature (and some say what defines us as humans apart from animals) to love. Even with the pain that may come, it is worth every bit as much as you put into it.

I'd choose to love and loose. Love is one of the best feelings in the world...I don't think I could go through life not feeling that!

I would choose love and loose because if you were to never love at all what would happen if one day a really cute guy or girl starts to love you and you start to love them back your never going to know how to love. And because also there is so many fish in the sea. "Variety is the spice of life".

A week?? No, honey, that's not love. It might be infatuation, and that I have experienced. It's tough, but you'll get through it. I remember how that feels.
Keep your head up and stay strong--the right one will come along. I'm living proof.

Been there did that and it's killing me. But if I could go back I wouldn't change a thing. He's still the most important part of my every waking and sleeping moments.
