bump on gum area where i had tooth pulled?

i got a tooth pulled a week ago and it is still closing , now i have a knot on the outside of the gum where it was pulled and the knot is sore to the touch what could it be?

go back to the dentist you may have a dry socket, or an infection...either way not good..call and get an appointment soon

recurrent infection... go back and see your dentist, you may need to be on an antibiotic.
