The use of Paxil in itself can help with sleep at night, but mostly not. Ambien can be used on top of Paxil as a sleep aid. However you don't want to become reliant on the medication. Developing good sleeping habits is always best: 1.) Going to sleep at the same time everyday. 2.) Adequate exercise. 3.) Don't eat close to bedtime. Though people react differenty to medications.
