i bleached parts of my hair last week and dyed it red, what would i do to get it back to the blonde? I dont know if i want to keep dying my hair red all the time, i might just want blonde instead, seeing as the color doesn't last very long, should i strip my hair? would it go back to the bleached color i had before i dyed it red or would it go back to brownish/black?

it really depends on how much you will need to apply to get it to work. like i need two bottles at the same time and all it does is make it close to what your real hair color is and fries it horribly bad. think about it first. can you just let it grow out????

edit: it will most likely go back to the blond.

DON'T strip the color. the punky reds are made of a fabric dye, unlike ordinary haircolor, it eats into the cortex of your hair but it also fades really fast, so when you strip it, it actually turns it pink. the only way to take it out is by bleaching it but it has to go through many levels of color before reaching the blonde again and since you were blonde before, doing this will cause your hair to break. And it might be blotchy and uneven. your best bet is to color it with an ordinary semi-permanent color and stay red but don't use the punky colors anymore. (BUT DO NOT USE black, if you ever want to go light again, it won't happen)

if you want your hair to be blond again go to a salon ask what products they use you need to find someone that uses goldwell color remover it is not a stripper and it is less damageing than bleach i have 4 differant reds in my hair and blond chuncky highlights the reds bled into the blond and this is what i used to get the pink out of my hair and it did not break off and it still looks healthy and whatever you do don't try it yourself

when you strip your hair, it takes out all of the nutrients and basically makes it weak and brittle. so it's better to dye it. go to a professional. you can save money by doing it yourself, but hair is something that takes a long, long time to fix if you screw it up. go to a beauty school if you're really set on not spending a lot. then it will look good and won't be completely ruined. they know what they're doing.

DO NOT strip your hair that is so terrible for your hair it kills it and makes it very brittle and it really damages it. From friends experience, just get your stylist to dye it back to your natural color

Oh my God. You're making your hair very weak just by doing what you're doing. Strip it and you could do even more damage to it. I say go back to brownish black. Your hair will be much healthier!

it would probably go back to the natural color you had since the blonde was a dye too. go to a salon and ask.. they would know best.. good luck

I would consult a professional stylist. Do what you like with your hair.
