Why is the breast and wing on a chicken lighter than the leg and thigh?

The more muscular the meat the darker. The leg and thigh on a chicken is used more than a wing or breast.

I assume you mean lighter in color and the reason is that the legs and thighs contain all the cholesterol. that is also the reason they are cheaper.

cuz the thigh and the leg is a muscle cuz they walk on it
