happiness isn't about what you HAVE. It's about who you are. You have to be happy with yourself. Nothing on the outside will or can MAKE you happy. Case in point, look at all the lotto winners who never seem to be happy after they get all the money in the world (practaclly) - they can have everything and anything they want but yet, so many of them piss it away and end up miserable. You have to find happiness within yourself - and no matter what you think now, you can. We all have a spark of the divine in us and are capable of being happy...we just forget how. Start keeping a journal and figure it out - figure out why you don't like yourself and do something to change that.

Great question...you are 'sad' because you are simply "bored", this 'boreness' is caused by the fact that you are exceptionally intellegent (believe it or not) you are too bright, too smart, and unlike many people YOU "get it" faster than everyone else (YOU are hardly ever impressed). The reason for this 'unhappiness' is that YOU need to be challenged!...Don't just sit there and wait for this chanllenge to come, create it. Trust me, I know that you are smart enough to figure out what this challenge should be, the reason you HAVEN'T created it, is because YOU have created your own limitations to accomplish your BIG DREAM, YOU are where you are now because you have put yourself there, the reason you haven't been able to feel happy is (guess what?) YOU have put yourself there. So like anything else you've gotten life, you can conquer happiness by puting yourself where YOU want to be, DO something trully chanllenging, trully exciting,,just DO IT!!

You answered yourself,Because you said you have everthing to make you feel happy.Happiness is not based on things in our possession. It is from inner peace and harmony from a relationship with the super power and righteous ruler - Jesus Christ that brings total satisfaction.I used to think if I only had this or if I only had that,But once I got it then it was the next thing that I wanted. To much was never enough, nor could be because it wasn't the right possession that I truly needed. Now I got Jesus and I couldn't be happier in any way. May God Bless You.

I am no expert, but I often feel the same way. all I can think of is this; happiness is not a state of mind, it is an attitude, and we all have to work to achieve it the best way we can. There is beauty all around - but sometimes I am too busy to see it. If this was my last few minutes on earth, I would take them to listen to birdsong, look at scenery, simple stuff that I never usually notice. I try to see more 'good' than bad every day.

You could also say that you have everything that you thought would make you happy so there could be something to explore there and that really depends if you have a kind of "Is this it?" feeling about your life. If that doesn't apply and you still feel unhappy then remember that depression can be caused by a chemical imbalance (that's why some are helped by antidepressants) as many seemingly happy people can be visited by feelings of unhappiness (in different degrees) that overtake them sometimes.

Happiness is a state of mind. Things will not make you happy. You have to be content within yourself before you appreciate external things. Make a list of all the good points you have and refer to them every day. Smile each and everyday!

You probably have so much going on that you are overwhelmed and it makes you down. Take a little you time, have a cup of tea and relax, watch something funny on tv, go for a walk just take your mind off everything and you'll be surprised how much you'll perk up. Trust me, I'm getting over a bout of serious depression and I have everything to be happy for.

because there is no such thing as perfect happiness here on earth... maybe you'd be happier if you increased the relationship with God.... maybe instead of keeping everything, you should give to the poor, help others, that sort of thing always makes me happy to know I helped a fellow child of God.
