Historians say that an exact year can't be found, but he was born around 2 to 4 B.C. and later died in the early 30s A.D. Hope this helps!

As you can see, no one really knows. It is speculated that he was born 6 C.E. but alas, that is nothing more than speculation. There is no credible evidence to show that he even lived (there are I think two secular writers that mention someone that could have been Jesus in passing), and if he did, even less data to show that he was a notable figure during his lifetime. If the evidence was there (real provable evidence) then there would be no argument. Given that people can't even get his date of birth right, it astounds me that anyone can assume he was a Diety, or Semi-Diety.
Add In: It's nice to see people still don't know that A.D. isn't "After Death" they actually taught us what that meant when I was in school, apparantely it isn't important anymore.

The year 2 bc and died in the year 33
His birth and death is recorded in the Great Pyramid of Giza.
The one without the cap-stone.

BTW..A.D. doesn't mean after death..it's latin for Anno Domini, (year of your Lord)

We base our keeping of time on Jesus birth around 1 or some say 2 of our current calendar. Calling it CE or the Christian Era.
We also base time going back from Jesus birth to say 4026
the birth of Adam and then going down to the birth of Jesus. 1

He died in Nisan 14 or passover of 33 CE {Easter}

4 or 5 BC to 28 or 29 AD

I would think AD (after death) would begin after he died, so 0AD would be the first year after he died.

But that's just me.

How can you come up with a date when you can't show definitively that he actually lived to begin with?

If I recall correctly, I was taught born 4BC and died 29AD. Though, some people in my church think it was born 0AD and died 33AD.
