Very good point. It always grinds me to see people say, "They are all the same god, just different names"
There is One God who exists in three persons. All those who seek an audience have no other mediator than the Lord Jesus Christ. One day, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!
I love you all. Thanks, I needed that.

Equally valid... doesn't make any of the more true or false than the next. Just means they are viewed as valid beliefs. I can see Christianity as an equally valid option as Wicca or any other religion, but that certainly doesn't mean I agree with everything in Christianity.
Yes, Light and Darkness can exist in the same place... it's called Shadows.

They can be comparable, and within their own cultures have a similar status. Just as languages do. It would be fair to say that all major languages are equal, although they differ in their use of words and expressions.
If you would like a non-conflicting and non-religious account of God and the Universe that is different to all religions, you may click on "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website.

All faiths have the same equal pursuit and end goals. They differ only in their practices and ways to approach the end. In other words, each have their own road to travel through.... some have taken a wide and straight path, some the narrow roads, some the winding ways, each have their own dark and light alleys to experience but all will end in the same point.

Plato used to say that we only actually know what we can prove, all else is simple belief. Since all religious systems start with an un-provable, the existence of a deity-like being or beings, none of them can claim to be factually based, there fore they are all equal in that no single one can claim a monopoly of the truth, since all they have are speculation based on supposition. Truth is, after all, a tricky thing to pin down. A Roman governor once asked "What is truth?" then washed his hands.

Who says all faiths are equal? Clearly they are not. Some are very similar but none are equal. Light and darkness do co-exist in the human heart. We are always in a constant struggle between good and evil, between the flesh and the spirit.

All faiths are equal because in every faith there is a God or a Mind, or a Spiritual power that the faith believes in. Just because they do not pray to your God does not mean that they are not praying to there God. No one truely knows if there are many Gods that belong to many different religions or if there is one God that goes by many different names. Just because someone celebrates there faith differently then yours does not make them any lesser or any greater than you, therefor they are equal.

Maybe not all faiths are equal, but all people are equal and have an equal right to freedom of conscience. Think of it that way.

"No denomination has nailed it yet because they are all too self righteous to realize that it doesn't matter which one you have faith in ~ as long as you have faith. Your hearts are in the right places, your brains just have to wake up." Salma Hayek in a movie called Dogma.

All Faiths are NOT equal. There is only one TRUTH. "You are like a garden enclosed--a garden enclosed in which nothing unclean may enter" This is us after we have come to the truth. The Truth--Jesus.
