It all depends on how many clamps and hangers they will need to use. Also if the connecting pipe between the converter and muffler needs to be replaced. Generally speaking, you are looking at around $150 possibly higher.

Too much. take it to a muffler shop. GM charges alot for replacement mufflers. It's simple, Volume they don't sell many so it's more expensive to purchase smaller quantities, and they pass it on.
