well its all on how he treats you does he open car doors for you does he let you order 1st does he pick up some of the checks umm do you go for romantic walks does he kiss you and say i love you things like that

if you are at the point of saying "I love you" to each other, just look in his eyes the next time you tell him, and you'll be able to tell when he responds.

you really dont know until he asks you to marry him...or when he says i love you and you can tell he means it!
