And offer them wine and dinner with me and my friends? Or would this be evil to them?

I have never been offended when someone has invited me in, genuinely. We do not celebrate birthdays, so we would not accept, specifically in this instance

It would not be evil to sincerely invite Jehovah's Witnesses to a party, but keep in mind that they tend to be selective in their association and entertainment. There is nothing in their teachings that prohibits moderate consumption of wine, secular law permitting.

Jehovah's Witnesses attach no intrinsic significance to either Saturday or Sunday.

I personally am not a Witness but I have friends that are and they all drink. I would think it would be fine. The only issue is they don't celebrate birthdays or holidays. But they seem to like to party. We don't discuss religion.

As long as it's not a birthday party, any kind of holiday, including Mother's Day or Father's Day and, of course, drinking only in moderation. Other than that, don't see why you would be inconsiderate of them. Can I come? LOL

If the party was after sunset they shouldn't have a problem. I don't know how they feel about wine but it wouldn't be nice not to offer... Jim

If you feel that you'd like to invite them in, then do so. If they're offended by your offer, why is that your problem?

Oh no, open them up with a few drinks, that should be a great party. Can I watch, that would be humurous.

It may be evil to them. You may want to invite them but explain what it will be like and what it will involve. Hopefully they will be courteous enought to decline with respect.
