Yes. Many people act like the bible is fortelling so many events, but most people like to forget that there were other cultures who have perdicted events almost to the year aroung the same time the bible was written. I mean the mayan calander is a striking example of this. But people will find someway to discredit it because it doens't fit into their perfect idea of the bible.

Yes, that is true. You can interpret them to mean anything. But people are able to interpret almost anything to what they want to believe. Humans seem to have a near limitless capability for rationalization.

hmm i had someone tell me the bible speaks of radio waves. it quoted a verse that said something about thunder booming and they knew it was gods voice that god was around. which i find a moot point, because back then thunder/lightening was known as a characteristic of a god. Zues had lightening bolts, i know there is a viking god too that talked of lightning/thunder.
