What is this called:
The pointy part of the hairbrush, the part where you comb your hair?

THE COMB ON ONE END AND THE STRAIGHT HANDLE IS CALLED RAT TAIL FOR MAKING PARTS. SO IT'S CALLED A RAT TAIL COMB.
