actually, i am with you pink. the evidence of global warming can no longer be ignored, the scientific community now fully accepts the global warming theory and the damage that humans have done to this planet by burning fossil fuels. it is true that you will be gone in 90 yr but that does not mean we should ignore the problem and continue trashing the planet. you can only do what you can do the diminish your contribution to the destruction of the earth and hope that the various leaders of the worlds nations will see the problem and the whole world will come together and try to seek solutions. every american can drive a hybrid but if china and india dont see the light the earth is doomed, it is only a matter of time

Nova did an interesting article on how a supervolcano 75,000 years ago raised ocean temperatures by 10 (!) degrees C, and rained sulfuric acid down on most of the world.
The sulfuric-acid particles in the air kick-started an ice age by reflecting off a TON of sunlight. Snow formed, and when the sulfuric acid was gone the snow reflected the energy from sunlight back into space.
If the world survived that, it will likely survive man. Humanity doesnt easily learn the big lessons. We really do need to be kicked in the head in order to change our directions. Look at how hard it was to generally accept women as equal to men (not that its fully done now, but some progress has been made).
We will bring ourselves to the brink, then fall most of the way over, some small remainder who lives through it will get back up, walk away from that brink and toward another brink...
Dont sweat it. You cant change a single other persons heart, much less lead the race back from the brink by changing a billion hearts.
So we use up oil, and its gone for a while. So we use up most of our food, and a few billion people have to die. So we set ourself back technologically to the middle ages, except we have many books that talk about what we could do if we had oil. That isnt the same thing as the end. Human beings will then go psycho the other direction until it knocks them in the head.

climate changes are based on guesses ( many educated ones, but guesses none the less)
heck they can't tell the weather with %100 accuracy a week in advance, so, can they tell major events 100 years away?
two,
if something causes the ecosystems to be destroyed, money ain't gonna help you.
money is only good when everyone respects it
I mean,
if you were starving, and someone offered you a bunch of money for you food, would you take it?
be rich and die?
so, if there was a food shortage on a planet scale,
your money is worthless.
will someone step in
Yes.
god has promised that he did not create the world simply for nothing,
and that he will do away with those ruining the earth

We don't know how long this world or if it will go in the same way that the doomsday cryers would say it will but this world will not survive. The Bible is clear that after the rapture and tribulation that God will destroy this earth and build a new heaven and a new earth. I don't know when but God knows. The survivors will be those that accept Jesus as their savior knowing that they could do nothing to make restitution for their sins. It will not matter whether you are rich or poor but what your choice is concerning Jesus Christ.
The increase in wars, weather catastropies etc were stated by Jesus before he died and rose again.
I am not worried about when or how. I am secure in knowing that my eternity is secure in Christ.

Can this world survive? Yes. The planet will live on in one form or another.
Will we soon destroy ourselves? No. Humans will be around quite a while, even if it means destroying most of the other life on this planet.
Is there a greater power that will soon step in and save us? Don't count on it.

To answer your question in order:
Yes.
They will probably go extinct.
We will never all be under water. Sea levels have risen and fallen in the past by way more than 2 meters.
The one about storms is not a question, in spite of the punctuation.
We may destroy ourselves, but if we do it will be nuclear bombs or something like that, not global warming.
The poor will survive too.
Nobody will help us, we need to help ourselves.

Actually, a few number of years ago, they were saying, "The oil underground has only enough left for 20 (30?) years, and then we will have no choice but to go to substitutes, or back to coal."
But what happened? Guess what-----they found more oil!! And then more and more oil. And even now, theyre finding more oil.
No one even wants to guess when we're running out of oil. The time may never come, when there's no more oil to be found. But with all that oil-------sometimes we dont have enough oil. Ha ha ha. Dont you think its all funny??? I do.
