It depends on the circumstances, frat boys pledging or winning a bet or some other things that guys would do to be funny or stupid. Then no it's not gay. If it's a sexual thing then it becomes gay.

If your talking about the way guys do it during sports? I think that has been socially accpeted throughout the world. Other than that I think its kinda weird sorry to say.
