Yes, during the last few months before my deconversion from Christianity I prayed all the time for god to help show me what was the truth in his word and to help me find the true answers and begged for him to help me hold onto the faith that I always held so dear. If he exists, his answer was "no". So, I concluded that either there is an mean tyrant in the sky who didn't love me or that there wasn't a god; I choose that there wasn't a god.
My prayers were never for things or big miracles or even small ones, my prayers were about getting to know god and learn his ways and again...nada, zip, nothing. After having been a Christian for 34 years I thought I was worthy of better.
Of course, knowing what I know now I realize I would have had the same results praying to a rock, biblegod doesn't exist and neither do any other religions gods.

God responds to your prayer if you are a good believer..I'm Muslim and I know one of my relatives who was an old man and lived in a small Egyptian village..he always prayed to God thet he wanted to be buried in Baqi "were the companions of the prophets are buried"..all people told him that it is very hard to happen but here what happened: He went to Umrah "visit the holy mosque in Mecca" but he couldn't go in the first attempt due to some difficulties and he cried to much on that day and he prayed to God again..next year he went to Mecca made Umrah and then died in the mosque...there the mosque was near full and near a million Muslim prayed for him and that God forgives him...then they took his body to Medinah and burried him in Baqi just like he wanted before death instead of sending the body back to Egypt..
I know other true stories about people cured from cancer "late malignant types" and even after metastases or spread in lymph nodes or blood stream" after praying to God...the point is how near the person is to God so that God responds to him..I had some experiences myself as once I was thinking of doing something wrong and I stopped a taxi..the taxi driver was playing a tape of Qur'an and the first verse I heard was a verse warning me from the exact sin I was thinking about..another similar incedence happened when I was afraud if another thing I did was wrong then I heard also the firs verse when I rided the taxi talking about the same thing and it meant that nothing is wrong in what I'm thinking.

When i was 8 years old i lived in a crack house with my parrents, The both did meth and coke, and pot. I prayed to god to help, i needed food, and a safe place to live i wanted god to clean them up. Soon after that plead, social services took me into foster care.
Im still alive, and healthy. God has provided every thing i need since then. All i need is a little help from MY FATHER.
ASK AND YOU SHALL RECIEVE. I wanted a guitar, i had no way to buy one, i prayed and won a guitar from mars music when they closed. I use that guitar in worship. My friends a youth pastor, his car broke down, and he won a new one from a radio contest. God works in misteriouse ways. open youre eyes and you will see.

I used to pray to God for help with making me striaght. I used to beg him to make it all go away and cry for hours. He never helped me or made my life easier. Sorry but I find such an uncaring God that condems me to being gay yet refused to help me is a waste of my time.

I actually do this every day. I give each day to GOD when I wake up in the morning. Now sometimes I take it back but if things get nasty I will give it back again. So the answer is. Hundreds of times each day.
GOD bless ya.

I never asked for Gods help. But someone else asked God to heal me. And his prayer was answered immediatly. All prayers aren't answered because maybe what you're asking for is not as good as what God has in store for you.
Remember the song "Thank God for unanswered prayers."
