why do boys lie to girls they love so much?

Love and Lie...the two are not connected as many of your answers above say. People lie for many reasons. We are human, no one is honest all the time. You can lie to save hurting someone's feelings. You can lie to protect your own feelings. And of course there is also to be dishonest intentionally. But, just because someone lies, it doesn't mean that they dont love you. It could be that they are just trying to avoid a fight. There are so many angles to this question. But, in the end, you are the one that needs to evaluate and qualify the lie. None of us really know what it concerns.

You know it's the same reason girls lie to guys they love so much. Like girls who lie about if they really liked the sex or not and say it was great when it really wasn't. Boys lie for similar reasons, like lying about your weight and saying our not fat when the girl probably is.

I'm still trying to figure that out myself...but maybe it is because they don't want to hurt them and so...if there is something that they think could possibly hurt them, they will lie about it to make it either sound better or just so that the girl doesn't find out about it.

You've practically answered your own question, boys to men don't lie to women that they love for the fear of losing them. If you are being lied to, chances are that he isn't loving you much anyway.

People don't lie to those they claim to love. If he's lying to you he doesn't love you. Best you learn that fact of life early -- it will save you a lot of heartache!
