Why do you all blame the da vinci code for saying Jesus was married? The belief/rumour that he was married has been around for a lot longer than the da vinci code has. He may well have been. As to the church telling us if he was, i dont think they would they hide to much as it is.

"Da Vinci Code" was a terrible, poorly written book made into an unwatchable, stupid movie.
That said, to suggest that Jesus might've gotten his wang wet and sired some offspring is certainly less ridiculous than the usual stories you hear about him.
As for the Church, it's nothing but secrets. One of the Popes is quoted as having said "It has served us well, this fable of Christ." For centuries it was the most powerful organization in the Western world, and its power was dependant on keeping the peasant masses ignorant and "faithful." The fact that people still carry on with "christianity" here in the 21st century, when they're no longer under such severe duress, is just pitiful.
Listen to some of these people. "If he was married, it would be in the bible!" Brainless sheep.

It's a theory brought up in da vinci code... There are a lot of thenings they feel the catholic church is hiding... There really is no way of knowing what happened at the time. Supposedly jesus was married to mary magdalin and had a baby too... So, we really don't know...

Jesus (Yeshua Ben Joseph) was married to Mary of Bethany in his 36th year (AD 31). They had three children in the manner of the Essene Community when husbands were only allowed to be with their wives during a certain part of the year so that children would only be born during a certain time of the year. They had a daughter named Tamar and two sons, Yeshua (Jr.) and Josenes. This isn't a fantasy and their's tons of evidence to back it up. After the Jewish Revolt was put down by the Romans in AD64, Mary moved her children to the Languedoc region of France. Yeshua eventually found his way to present day India where he died and was buried. You can still visit his tomb. The family in France evolved into the Morovingian line of French Kings and eventually into the Stewart (Stuart) Kings of England. The not being married stuff was just Roman claptrap to diminish the role of women in religion. They didn't like the idea of a matriarchal society so they turned Mary of Bethany into a prostitute.

Theologians, long before the Da Vinci code was written, claim that it was possible Jesus was married because of his age and Jewish custom of the time. But, it's only a theory.

No, the Jesus of the Bible was not married. He is to
call for His Bride ( the church) for the marriage feast
during end times. If you people who ask dumb questions
would just read the Holy Bible, you wouldn't have to ask
these kind of questions.
