if you call your insurance company they should ask you a series of questions.. and if you have at least where he works.. which is legit that is.. you can use that as a reference they should be able to contact him and ask for his information...

shame the police wasn't involved... this would make it more official and less troublesome technically.

but you have his card which opens him up to any conditions that may be applied in reference to the accident and his insurance company.

try it out.. see what help you can get.. if you can't get real good help over the phone... go to the local office of your company and sit with a representative.. remembering to bring you car and the business card... that's two points of proof you had a fender bender....

and the card is some proof the individual invovled is a willing participant.. so we hope.

good luck.

It doesn't matter how small the accident was, ALWAYS involve the police. They will get the information you you need just in case you need it; and also let's you know who was at fault.

As for tracking the person: The busness card should have enough information on it to track him down. I'm sure that someone will know him at where he works.

You needed two major things his full name with d/l # and insurance policy #. You need to make contact with the indivual and get that information before contacting your insurance company.
