I eat three good healthy meals a day and I do eat healthy snacks too sometimes. Drinking lots of water just makes me feel sick.

Brush your teeth or chew a sugar free gum!

Try drinking 8 oz of water when you feel hungry.
Keep raw vegtables like celery and carrots handy and snack on them. Season these with Salad Supreme from McCormick. Substitute salt for sugar.
When you feel the urge to snack exercise instead.
Keep a picture of yourself at your best on your fridge door.
Buy an expensive outfit one size smaller than you currently wear. Hang this where you will see it daily.

Drink a tall glass or two (however much you can put up with) of cold water whenever you get the urge to snack. Then, snack away. Most likely you're thirsty.

Eat something with more substance than sugary crap. Fiber and protein take longer for your body to break down, so you'll take longer to get hungry again. Drinking lots of water can also help curb hunger.

Drink lots of water, dearie. It helps you to feel full. You're probably just bored and eating to kill boredom. Try taking a walk whenever you feel like eating between meals. Do you exercise? You'd be surprised how much better you'll feel about yourself, and this will help you to control that appetite. (It worked for me!)

You could try chewing gum. That way your mouth will have something to do and hopefully trick your mind.
Make sure you are getting enough protien, you will feel hungry, tired and sick if you don't get enough.

I usually chew gum to overcome cravings. Also working out seems to make me less hungry for some reason.

well, first see a doctor to be sure you dont have some underlying medical illness because 30 minutes is not very long. sugary foods will not keep you full long, stick to high protein foods to feel fuller longer
