well of course , if at all possible check on all the options suggested by the other answerers, but , these are old fashioned remedies that work. try using the spice Cloves with a q-tip dip in cloves and use on tooth, for immediate relief. get some peroxide, and start right now rinsing you mouth with it. continue to alternate these to things and eventually the infection will subside enough to give you real relief. But as soon as possible you will need to see a dentist. Meanwhile the peroxide will pull out the infection and the cloves will kill the pain. Good luck.

Surely there is a charity hospital in your area.I've had bad toothaches and never was able to kill the pain until I went to the dentist. One was hurting me real bad and I didn't go to a dentist. It had been hurting me off and on for several months. One day it was hurting more than ever and I felt a little pop on my jaw.My whole jaw on that side went numb for a day or two and then the feeling came back.I was told the nerve died when that happened.I hope you can get help through some sort of charity hospital.Believe me, I know how painful toothaches are.I feel for ya.Good luck

If you have enough money to buy street drugs, you have enough to get your teeth taken care of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I can't even express how many exclaimation points I'd like to use there!)
If your teeth are giving you enough problems that you cannot work or function, then it's time to get those things pulled! My boyfriend recently got a tooth pulled for the same reason-it ended up costing $300 to get it out of there, but it is absolutely worth it in order to get you out of pain.
If you're that strapped for cash, maybe you should downsize your living arangments. If you don't qualify for help from the state, you are above "poverty level," which means you should be able to afford **** like that on your own (I'm in the same situation). If not, and I know this sounds crappy, but you should just take a couple weeks off and cut your work week in half, which would give you less money showing up accounted for on pay stubs (you have to give DES your pay stubs), thus qualifying you for state programs. At least keep it up for a week so that you can get your teeth fixed and then go back to a normal work schedule. That's the best I can think of. But stop being an idiot and buying "street drugs" because that **** is rotting your teeth even more...are you feckin' mental or what?!?!

You can't avoid going to a dentist for the rest of your life, hey? I feel you, though, but I go when I have to. Look in your phone book for a dentist who 'caters to cowards'. They are very understanding and will take care of you the whole way. Ask your dentist if he would consider giving you a Haldol tablet before your visit. I took one before having two impacted wisdom teeth removed, and honestly I didn't care if he ripped my whole face off. Or do as others have suggested, and get the nitrous. It's very effective. You musn't put this off. A broken molar can easily lead to an abscess, nerve damage, loss of jawbone, etc. I wish I could go with you, but I can't! LOL Take a trusted friend with you for moral support. Good luck to you, and I hope you are able to conquer this fear.

A lot of dentist have payment plans. If you wait too long it could end up to be an enormous problem. If you have an infection it could travel around you Body causing other problems. By the way, how do you expect to do well in school while you are in this condition.

Check to see where the nearest College is that teaches dentistry.
Dental schools frequently do work at greatly reduced fee's.
This damage is not temporary so simple pain relief will eventually develope into drug dependancy.
You need treatment now.
Go to an Emergency room. Any that recieves federal funds is legally obliged to render emergency treatment, regardless of your ability to pay.

In most every city there are dental clinics for people with no insurance and low incomes. Look in your local phone book (usually in the "blue pages" in my book) for health services or go to this web site
http://ask.hrsa.gov/pc/
For God's sake don't be buying street drugs or you'll find yourself in jail (of course then you'd get free dental care.....ain't America's health care system grand?) Please see a dentist as soon as possible. You probably have infections in your teeth and gums and that could be deadly. Good luck to you.

You do have options...Check with your county offices to see if they or the state can provide you with (even temporary) insurance. I know that here in CA, you can get "emergency Medi-Cal" for situations like this. When they know you truly need treatment, they generally won't withhold it.
The infection will eventually kill you, so please take it seriously and get medical attention.
Really. I really, really mean it. Please take the time to get this fixed.
There are no legitimate long term pain killers. You could try anbesol, or similar products, but these are only meant to be temporary solutions.

Of course you have options for medical treatment. No excuses. Even if you have no money and no insurance. Call you county's Department of Health/Social Services. If you qualify (and if you have no money, you will) they will send you to a dentist that does pro-bono work (for free).
