isnt it "wie gehts dir"? It means how are you. The "dir" is used for formally adressing people. "(v) (gates) (deer)" Hope that helps

Alles klar is like 'what's up?'. Despite what internet translators say, 'macht nichts (pronounced like 'mox nix') is like 'not much'. I know this because I had several German friends when I lived in Germany.

I suppose "Wie geht's" is the closest translation. Literally it means "How's it going" but in context it means how are you.
how to pronounce Wie Geht's with english phonetics:
Vee - Gates
