How do iconvice my parents to let me have a sleepover?

My parents are making a big deal out of me wanting to have a sleepover and it for my 14th birthday!! talk about old!! im responsible enough anyway and every time we talk about it it turns into angument. ive never really had a sleepover so this is kinda my first one..!! They keep on saying that they want to speak with sll of my freinds parents and have a bloody discussion!!!! for f*** sake!!! who does that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST WANT A BLOODY SLEEPOVER FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE!!!!!

And its not like any boys are coming and i only want 3 people

Jeez what's with parents these days? I just saw a 15 year old girl who wasn't allowed to date. Aren't you girls in high school now? tell your parents they need to lighten up (well that might piss them off) but hello! you are at the house, they are there, it's not like your wandering the streets. I'm 29 and I really don't see what the big deal is. Parents now are way too uptight, all you girls are going to go absolutley wild in college cause your parents don't let you do the most innocent things now. So sad. Good luck, I think it's absolutley ridiculous you can't have a sleep over. p.s. ask them to "explain thier reasoning behind thier decision" just like that. LOL that will throw them for a loop. It's a mature way of proving your point. Go for it girly!

Maybe there is something they are not telling you. Maybe, they are ashamed of their house or how your family looks?? Just do something like clean the house, cook supper, etc. Make yourself look good and whatever you do make sure that you mind what they say until atleast the day that you have the sleepover.

ask your mom if she ever had one its part of a girls life you cant not have at least one sleep over in your life i mean it just a bunch of girls watching movies talking about who the cutest boy in school is and eating lots of food.
