Tattoo is of a butterfly and it looks like brusiing but does not hurt like a brusie. Could he have went to deep with tattoo needle and that is black ink not brusiing?

Yes they can and it will cause scarring in some cases, but it sounds to me like your tatoo is just bleeding which is caused when the tattoo needle is used at the wrong angle. I would first go to another tattoo artist, not the one you got it from originally and ask him/her if they know why this is happening. They will probably tell you the same thing I did, but maybe they will be able to give you options in fixing it.

I'm not sure about going to deep, but your tattoo could be spreading out or leaching into the skin surrounding the tattoo.
You first should go to a reputable tattoo shop and get there advice and also a dermatologist.

It is common for an artist to go too deep, and actually tattoo the muscle. So as you think, its just ink gone into the muscle, which shouldn't have happened, but you can't change that now.

I would probably choose to get a tattoo of the infinite sign with the quote "And in that moment, I swear we were infinite" from a book I read called The Perks of Being A Wallflower. I'd probably put it somewhere around my rib or hip area.

Yes. my husbnad has one on his arm that looks like he had a scar previous to the tattoo. The guy was almost digging out the skin in the area.

not sure, but i know often times, if the incorrect pressure is applied, there is such a thing called "bleeding". that's in reference to the ink of the tatoo, not a physiological effect. that's one thing to keep in mind and look for in the quality of a tatoo artist (for future reference). my ex was a tatoo artist for a number of years and this is my only source of info....do a search on this for more answers.

Sounds like a blowout---ink not staying where it was put, and it's caused by the needles being used at the wrong angle.

Sounds like an infection of some kind. Have you been exposing it to sunlight? Some people can't do that.
