I think Casamayor felt robbed last time and has something to prove and will come with his best game and surprise Corrales with a few flurries early on. Corrales will settle down and it will be a close fight but at the end of the night I think Casamayor will be the victor.

I read about Corrales problem at the scales too, its sad he didn't learn from Castillo's mishap(s). I agree it is funny though. But it also made me enthused about the Castillo v Corrales III but now it would be at 140lbs. Just a thought or wish. OK anyway I am sticking with Corrales, he has the knack of pulling out a fight. Plus Casamayor looked sluggish in his last fight. Now when Corrales wins he don't get a belt to drape over his shoulder, maybe they'll stick a crown on his head, like the one at burger king (apparently he goes there too often hence the extra pounds)

The ironic thing is even if Corrales wins he has already lost. He weighed in at 140lbs (first attempt) thru on a "sweat suit" and ran only to come back and still weigh 139 (3rd attempt). I had to laugh due to the fiasco that took place with Castillo about the very same thing, caused the Castillo v Corrales III to be canceled. Castillo was fined and suspended, you would think Corrales (who put up quite a fuss about it) would be sure to come in at 135lbs.
As a result Corrales was stripped of his WBC Lightweight belt. He still has to fight and if Casamayor wins he gets the title, Corrales wins he gets, well money LOL. I find this event to be a foreshadowing of what's going to happen when its all said and done. Casamayor is going to win by TKO.

Cool Breeze ~
In my opinion, although Diego has been in some really tough battles and should retire, he will beat the much smaller Casamayor. Anyone who has seen any of Corrales's fights knows that he really doesn't rely on his height or reach advantage he likes to slug it out.
Casamayor does have an advantage of being a southpaw but given the close proximity that this fight is going to take place that really isn't going to make much of a difference. Casamayor also has the shorter arms that should make the inside fight better to suit his style. Casamayor has a pretty good chin too.
We might see Diego get old before our eyes, that is when a fighter has been in just too many wars. It could happen with just one punch, one round or just one more fight, each fighter no matter who they are have just the amount of punches he/she can take before it all comes apart. Is this Casamayor the fighter to do this to Diego, I'm not too sure but given Diegos willingness to stand there and take one to give one attitude it might just be a safe bet.
Diego punches down turning his shoulder and hip into his punch. Casamayor punches more with his arm than shoulder. This will be the biggest difference in this fight that will help Diego knock Joel out in the middle rounds after a series of uppercuts and straight right hands. Look for the Ref to stop this contest in round 7.
Thanks for the question Cool Breeze.
