Well i had an accident on sunday with a motorcycle. I was stopped waiting to make a left turn when this "05" Yamaha rear-ended me I think he was going at high speed. My "02" Impala has all its back badly damaged. The shop was shocked to see the car and surprised da motorcycle did this. And surprised the guy was ok. This guy doesnt have insurance or a license i filled a police report..My insurance will fix my car but now my insurance will go up...My cr doesnt have the same value.....What can i do?

He didnt have any ID onhim or anything, he was arrested, taken to the station to finger print him and stuff. he said it was his. My body shop says to sue for diminished value..Has anyone been through something like this. I dont have a ot of money I just got married a few months ago so money is tight do i need a lawyer? i have court the 1st of Nov.

No i was not hurt, just shocken and frightened..yeah i know its just a car but it took me so much hard work to get my car its my baby...and all for it to be worthless for some loser to deminish th value of my car. If i decide to sell it in the future, because of this accident my car is not worth not even what i owe the dealer...

A non-fault claim should not have an effect on your rates. If that's all you're worried about, don't! Have your insurance company fix it and they can go after the guy for reimbursement. You didn't mention being injured, so assuming you're not it's only a car, it can be fixed, let your company deal with it. No point in getting an attorney if you weren't hurt. In fact, I wouldn't recommend one even if you were.

Sue the crap out of the idiot on the bike. Hey, I ride a motorcycle - but I'm licensed and insured. You don't even really know whether or not the motorcycle actually belonged to this guy!

I would sue him, his homeowner's insurance company, and anyone else who let this idiot out on the road without insurance - at least for the cost of the car repair.

Take the guy to small claims court

Take him to court and sue him for damages.By law, he is to have insurance.
