How many people would agree that greek myths and legents is quite an useless subject.
I got this real nast teacher for it.
I'm saying nasty because every student in the school hates her and many teachers too.
She is old, obsessive with the subject and very strict. She treats the myths like the most important subject ever.
Anyways me and others have plenty of reasons to hate her.
Any way to make her quit the job?

I took a class on greek mythology in university and I can tell you there are plenty of much more horrible subjects out there. Every teacher has a passion and you should be glad that she is at least enjoying what she is teaching about - having her hate the subject would be even worse for you. Maybe she is bitter because she has had to deal with many students over the years who do not give her a great deal of hope for the future generations- and of course if she has not been treated well in the past it may have made her less likely to bother being nice to students anymore. Since she is old she is probably nearing her own retirement anyways - it wouldnt be much of a victory to get her to leave, and it would probably end up coming back to you in the end anyhow. If she singles you out or is mean directly to you, go and speak with her in private and honestly tell her what you dont like - most of the times teachers will respond wonderfully to your sensitivites and accomodate your preferences.

The Greek myths are important to learn because it gives insight into the early belief system and how some of our traditions and superstitions came to be. A lot of the most popular shows in our history have had a root in the Greek myths. Power Rangers is a direct take of Jason and the Argonauts. Please stay in the subject. It can be very interesting

greek mythology actually helps us understand our life at present, there are times that we think that the lessons we learn in school is useless, but the fact is, all this knowledge can be useful later in life. When u hate a subject or a certain lesson, study it more. When u hate the teacher, study the lessons more and prove to her that u are better than her. Don't make her quit her job, like every other human being, she has the goal to survive and she had the degree in education to obtain that goal...maybe that's not her main goal for becoming a teacher, but i'm sure its one of them. Bear with it and study harder, u will find that that subject is not that pointless anyway. More power to you and your teacher.

Many of the greek myths have parallels to todays beliefs, Sounds like you don't want to take the class, I bet your teacher feels the same way about your passions that you feel about hers. I am assuming that whenever you are displeased with something you solution is to get rid of it,hope you love your family.
