You kinda, sorta, almost, notquite, but close, in a way, got it right... if you ever get it all right you will know you are in Heaven and have been given The Truth directly by the Author Himself... No one has ever gotrten The Bible all figgured out, and be very warry of anyone who says they have...they are wrong... I am 59. I have been of The True Christian Faith for just over 6 1/2 yrs... I have yet tor ead all of The Bible. It is a lifetime study that can never be finished in this mortal world...

I will give the link to a page on my websit about the Bible from my pov and from what I have learned so far... and if you are interested you are welcome to look over the site as well...just click from the bible page... comments from my brothers and sisters in Christ are always welcome...even if I do not always agree with some:-)

we most certainly DON'T have to interpret and fill in the blanks. What you say is true, there is no way the bible could ever contain the entirity of Jesus' teachings. As such the universal (katholikos) church of Christ is intrusted to maintain the sacred traditions of the apostles which, together with scripture, form the full doctrine of the church. Only when this is taken into consideration can full religious understanding be gained

Life is a never ending process of learning and experiencing.
It's like breathing or eating.
If you stop being active and be sedentary then you'll die physically. Your mind should acquire more knowledge or wisdom especially regarding your soul, otherwise you will be like a retarded or a bed ridden person, a real living dead existing human being.

Reading between the lines can be dangerous as proven by history. No two people will interpret the bible the same way and so here we are today.......
