I recently saw a question on here from a father concerned with his baby. To me it sounded as if he and the mother were no longer together. Anyway, he was just concerned and wanted advise on his baby's breastfeeding habits. (The baby would scream when the mother would try to nurse him) This poor father was attacked by so many women. They were telling him to mind his own business and don't question the mother. Doesn't he have every right to ask questions? This is his child after all. Shouldn't more men be involved like that?

I agree....he has just as much right as the mother..even concerning breastfeeding.....Could you image how different the world would be if EVERY MAN was like that!!!!!

You are right, he has every right to be concerned about his baby. Breastfeeding is typically left up to the mother, but at least he was making an effort to see if anything was wrong with the baby. I wouldn't have attacked him unless he was really insensitive in his wording or it was obvious that he was trying to cause problems with the mother. I doubt you would have asked this question if he had been though.

Every situation is different, and it's easy to say that every father should be involved with his child. But the truth is that there are many men that should not be fathers, and are best if not involved in their childs life. This situation in particular does sound like a caring father and should be in his child's life, but I can only say that from the very limited information you have provided.

Yes, I think the father have to be involved.
I grow up without a father but it was okay because i had my mum and I never had a father but I think every child need a father... but I dont know how it feel to have a father. I know my father but I will never see him as a real father because my mum had such a hard time with me and my brother without my father and she made it.
Sure it was hard and, so I think everybody need a father and every father should be involved.

Most definitely!!! I had a hard enough time getting my husband to change a diaper or help the kids with their homework. He has every right to be concerned for his child whatever the case.

I believe that the fathers have right to be just involved as the mother...my sons father is so involved that I'm sure if he were able to breast feed himself he probably would have...I think it is great that dads enjoy fatherhood that much
